3.ความยุติธรรม นอกจากการให้คุณค่ากับทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม รวมถึงมิติแห่งอนาคตแล้ว ความยุติธรรมในด้านการใช้ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติก็มีความสำคัญไม่ยิ่งหย่อนไปจากกัน โดยความยุติธรรมในที่นี้หมายถึงความยุติธรรมใน 2 มิติ มิติแรก คือความยุติธรรมของคนในรุ่นเดียวกันในด้านการใช้ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยต้องมีการวางนโยบายที่ทำให้ประชากรในทุกกลุ่มสามารถเข้าถึงทรัพยากรธรรมชาติที่เขาต้องใช้ได้อย่างเท่าเทียมและเสมอภาค ส่วนมิติที่ 2 หมายถึงความยุติธรรมระหว่างคนรุ่นปัจจุบันกับคนรุ่นหลัง ที่คนรุ่นปัจจุบันต้องใช้ทรัพยากรอย่างคุ้มค่า ไม่เกินความสามารถในการฟื้นตัว และคงเหลือไว้ให้คนรุ่นหลังเพียงพอที่จะนำมาใช้ประโยชน์ในอนาคตได้

จากหลักการดังกล่าวจึงสรุปได้ว่า Going GREEN คือการใช้ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม เพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการของมนุษย์อย่างคุ้มค่าและเกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด เพื่อให้เกิดความยั่งยืนนั่นเอง

Going GREEN : ไปทำไม ? หลังจากยุคปฏิวัติอุตสาหกรรม โลกมีการใช้ทรัพยากรอย่างมากและไม่มีขีดจำกัด ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติอยู่ในสภาพที่ร่อยหรอและเหลือน้อยลงจนทรัพยากรธรรมชาติบางส่วนไม่สามารถฟื้นตัว หรือฟอกของเสียได้ทัน จึงเกิดปัญหามลพิษสิ่งแวดล้อมในด้านต่าง ๆ ตามมา หากเราไม่เร่งแก้ไขปัญหาในปัจจุบัน ปัญหามลพิษต่าง ๆ ก็จะมีผลกระทบเพิ่มมากขึ้นจนมีผลกระทบต่อตัวเราเองในปัจจุบัน และจะส่งผลต่อไปเป็นปัญหาให้กับชนรุ่นหลัง ซึ่งก็หมายถึงลูกหลานของเราในอนาคตนั่นเอง
